Personal Statement

From my point of view I would say I have come from a very good family. My family has always been there for me, they have always been on top of me to always do my best in my studies and do what I am asked to do from by my teachers. My parents they were also great inspiration and teachers to me as well, keeping me on the right path to a successful future. I would never do or get involved in anything that would make them disappointed in me. My parents have always wanted what was best for me. They have worked really hard in order to provide well for me and my brother.

My family has always tried to get me involve in many different activities to build my character and as well as my confidence. Learning to swim, taking karate classes, learning to fish stuff that wouldn’t interest me but my parents push me to learn new things. My parents point-of-view is to make me become a better person and to have an easier life. From as young as I can remember, they have wanted to see me in like 20 or 30 years actually doing something with my life instead of just wasting it.

Thanks to my parents because of them they helped me shaped my dreams and aspirations. Since I know my parents have always have had my back and were always there to support me all the time I know they will continue to help me along the way to make it in this world. I know they will help me support my dreams and goals that I want to achieve. If I can achieve my goals I know I made it thanks to the support of my family cause I know they taught me right and to know what to do with my life.

My goal currently is to try to continue going to school after I graduate from high school. That’s what my family really wants me to do and that’s what I really want to do. Nothing would be better than to see my family be proud of me that would make me happy. Knowing that my parents be there for me since I was born, giving me what I wanted supporting me at every corner of my life I would like to make it up to them in the future. I would have to admit that I knew they are great parents and teachers. I know that all the things that I am grateful for today I didn’t used to have back then.

My family when I was really young we didn’t have the most money at the time. Both my parents had to work like every day for very long hours. Most of the time my brother and I would always be taken care of by my aunts or uncles, being picked up from their homes later that night. I never had much as a kid so I always appreciated what would my parents would give me. From when my brother and I would get picked up from pre-k and we got ice cream from the people that sold ice cream in the streets, to when we would go to McDonalds. My mom and dad worked really hard to get a decent pay. Their work paid off later when like they would get would get recommendations from their bosses. My parent’s bosses knew they were responsible and reliable and cause of that they were recommended for a better job opportunities with better pay. So all the things I have from today was thanks to them being great people being responsible and knowing what I want. So this is why I want to make them proud and go to college. I don’t want a job for my life I want a career to make my life easier for me in the future.

My parents don’t want me to work as hard as they did when I was young. I want to succeed to better myself and to show others what I do with my life. In the future if I have kids I would like to be able to give them what they want not to give them very little but to give them what they want from the success I achieved from the hard work and dedication I accomplished. I also would like to repay my parents for all they have done for me because my parents are my life they are my teachers and my heroes.
